There are over 270 underground stations, covering 249 miles across London. It runs over 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, 12 months a year.

Current improvements include the night lines and platforms with WiFi. Yet, there are only 77 stations, including the DLR, that have complete disabled access. Im all for improving user experience, but what about the 1.4 million people who can't get onto the tube to start with?

How can access for all be an after thought? Why is it so shocking to hear people demanding step free acess? Have we all been living in a world without disability?

Change needs to happen and it needs to happen now.

We may not be able to provide step free acess in all of the underground stations. But we can share our concern, we can talk about, protest for it and provide support those who need it.
